Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding the relationship between good governance and the corruption, and measuring the impact of the mechanisms of good governance in the fight against the corruption on economic growth in some Arab countries through the channels of public expenditure and investment.

The study found that there is a negative impact of the control of corruption on economic growth in the short run and a positive impact in the long run.

The study also found that control of corruption contributes in increasing the effectiveness of public spending performance in increasing economic growth and that the control of corruption weakens the effectiveness of investment in increasing economic growth in the sample of countries studied.
