بعض جوانب التأليف و المؤلفين في الإنتاج الفكري الزراعي المنشور في المجلة اليمنية للبحوث و الدراسات الزراعية (1994-2013م)‎

Abstract EN

The study aimed at analyzing the published agricultural intellectual production in 27 issues of the Yemeni Journal of Research and Agricultural Studies published during the period 1994-2013 (408 titles), using the analytical descriptive statistical methodology.

Each year, two issues of the journal are issued with an average of 15 articles or titles / numbers.

The results showed that about half of the sample (51%) appeared individually.

Among the essays are the authorship, about 49.44% of them have the names of two authors, and three authors (33.3%) came in second.

Only a small percentage was found for subjects with the names of 4 or more authors.

The share of male authors ranked first (86%), while individual and joint contributions to literature constituted a low percentage (8.6%).

The researchers of the Agricultural Research and Extension Authority ranked first as the authors of most of the articles published in the magazine (75%), followed by academic researchers from Yemeni and Arab universities (18%) and thirdly, researchers from other local and foreign institutions (7%).

The study concluded some of the proposed scenarios for future development.
