Abstract EN

This study deals with the view of the documentary institutions of the graduates of Algerian universities (Linguistics specialization) after recruitment, trying to identify the various aspects of this subject in terms of degree of compatibility and quality in performing the functions assigned to them.

The objective of this study is to know the extent of these graduates' ability to meet the expectations of officials These institutions.

We conducted a field study in which we relied on the questionnaire as a data collection tool distributed to the officials of the documentary institutions as the sample of the study, in addition to an interview with the director of the Institute of Library Science in Constantine to ensure the university's accreditation of quality assurance procedures.

We have reached the conclusion that while the universities are striving to improve and improve the quality of higher education, the reality of the requirements of the documentary institutions is still not keeping up with these developments, if not delayed, without opening a discussion ground to activate the dialogue between the university and the various institutions.
