Abstract EN
This study aims at clarifying the relationship between self-esteem and academic compatibility in visually-impaired children by the measurement of these two parameters through the scales provided by Rosenberg and Youngman.
The study makes a comparison between the visually- impaired integrated into normal schools and those who follow their schooling in specialized schools (non-integrated) .The sample comprises 18 integrated children and 20 non-integrated.
The results of the study uphold the importance of integration in the realization of this relationship.
