Abstract EN

Theater is on of the first communication mechanisms known to man and still exist until this day.

In addition to the literary genres of the theater there is novel which is took participants from the literary genre (play) to become another genre like the play which is different in details.

For that,the researcher found in the play and the novel a reason to study it in details starting from the following question: (What is novel? And what is the relationship between the novel and the structure of theater discourse?).

First chapter included research importance, need it and the research target which is according to the researcher (Detection the novel structure and their convergences with the structure of theater discourse).

Then he talk about search temporal and spatial limits.

In time it is determined between (2008 – 2013), the place is Iraq.

In addition to the objective limit which is restricted in study the novel structure and their convergences with the play structure.

Second chapter included theoretical framework which is care in study the structure convergences between novel and play.

This chapter also included indicators of theoretical framework.

Third chapter included the research community.

It included 5 play texts of which Arabic, Iraqi, and foreigner texts.

It also included research methodology sample and tools that the researcher used in sample analysis.

Forth chapter included research results and conclusions.

It also included list of sources and references used
