Abstract EN

The study aimed at e،،ploring the pales Tinian media’s role in supporting the diplomatic efforts of state recognition from the palestinian elite media’s perspective.

the study discussed the historical development of the idea of a palestinian state in two phases; the modern and contemporary through demonstrating the events and incidents as well as e،،ploring the palestinian media concept, components, and reflection on society, and pointing to the relationship between the political and informational systems.

the scholar used the historical and analytical descriptive approaches as they highly become the topic of this study for getting profound results.

besides, the questionnaire was the tool of collecting data.

the study came to some results, the most important are : - the palestinian media supports the diplomatic efforts through covering news and proceedings, provoking and directing the public opinion, hosting political and legal characters to interpret the issues related to state recognition.

- some issues affect the diplomatic efforts negatively like the palestinian political and geographical division, unseriousness, Arab weakness, disavowal and e،، ternal interference in the palestinian af fairs, e،،erting pressure on the palestinian authority, the Israeli aggressions, and the Israeli-palestinian stalled negotiations.

finally the study recommends the following : - necessity of activating the role of the palestinian communities as well as the informational efforts around the world through activities in solidarity with the palestinian case.

- necessity of reunifying the palestinian body.

launch of non-Arabic tongue channels to convey the palestinian incidents and Israeli aggressions to the world for embarrassing Europe and the countries that take the Israeli side and for mobilizing public opinion for the sake of the palestinian case against the Israeli aggressions.
