Analyse de quelques réformes économiques apportées au systéme financier Algérien

Abstract EN

The purpose of this article is to analyze the reforms introduced by the Law on Money and Credit (LMC) and to assess the extent to which these reforms are put into practice.

To do this, we analyzed reforms to the central bank, the interest rate, the banking system and the money market.

What is observed is that, most of the reforms have not been implemented and others have been reformulated in order to let the Algerian economy run and a constrained system dependent on hydrocarbons, and to delay the transition to the market economy.

For this, these reforms will have to be reviewed quickly and in a structural and concrete way, because Algeria has a potential in several sectors, it should be exploited in order to diversify and realize an economic development which becomes a necessity especially with the current situation.
