It came Search an attempt to shed the light on the extent that commercial banks apply these standards.

The study problem is summarized on mechanism which banks follow to apply to governance standards, protect the rights of shareholders and customers from risks and crises and develop the banking performance.

This study has reached to a set of hypothesis, also it includes many branch hypothesis participated in showing variance, link and effect among the study variables.

A hypothetical model was designed shows the relation nature between the governance standards (the competency and independency of board of directors and executive administration , the competency and independency the audit and review committees, Transparency – disclosure Policy of banks and the banking procedures about assuring the shareholders and customers rights) and the banking performance with its indictors (profitability , liquidity and working capital adequacy).
