Abstract EN

This study aims at monitoring the work environment of the Palestinian magazine of Al-Sa’adah in terms of investigation the performance and attitudes of the communicators in this magazine, and the factors that influenced the formation of its editorial policies.

This study is considered as a descriptive research, in which the researchers used the media survey method through the use of content analysis and the survey of media practice method.

Data were collected using the content analysis form and the survey form.

The researcher used the Agenda and Communicator theories in this regard.

The survey form were implemented on a sample of 37 sampling units of writers, editors and part-time journalists working for the investigated magazine, using the comprehensive survey method.

The field study concluded a set of results.

Most importantly, it found that 81.1% of the communicators indicated that there is a clear administrative structure in the magazine.

The number of work tasks and the lack of income suitability were ranked first as the most pressing problems facing the communicators in a percentage of 19.4%.

45.9 % of the communicators indicated that Editing policy has great effect on the press work in the magazine.

Ther were differences in the mean of the sample grades to the effect of the ownership of the magazine on the professional performance which based on the communication attributed to the extent of a clear editorial policy in the magazine.
