This research in titled ((Revolutionary Command Council of Iraq 1968, Emergence and Establishing histry stady)) ; deals with establishment of the council after the coup carried out by the Baath party in Iraq, in July 17, 1968.

This council represents supreme authority in the Iraqi state, holds the power of legislation, issuing laws and planning of state policy.

This search also deals with development of its role on State affairs, the powers granted by the constitution to this council, and selection mechanism of its board members, and the leverage and power granted to the chairman and members of theboard.
