قياس الهناء النفسي لدى معلمي المدارس الحكومية و الأهلية في مدينة الموصل

Abstract EN

The present study aimed at measuring the level of psychological well-being among primary schools teachers, as a group has an important role in building an educated psychologically and socially compatible generation , it also aims to identify the differences in the level of psychological well-being according to the variables (public and private ) school , gender variable and male – female, the sample consisted of (291) teachers , (140) male and (151) female , randomly selected from (26) schools, (13) of which are public and (13) are private , the researcher used the (Ryff 2006 ) scale in its original version which was translated by Dr (Elnabgha Mohammed), the researcher extracted the psychometric properties of the scale to be ready for application in the Iraqi environment, the scale consists of (84) items divided into six areas for each field, three alternatives to the response.

The results showed: 1.

That the sample members enjoyed agood level of psychological well-being .

There are statistically significant differences according to the variable of (public – private ) schools in favor of public schools .

3.

There are statistically significant differences according to gender – female for the benefit of females.
