Abstract EN

The goal of this study is to discover the external dialogue at the beginnings and endings of Jamil Buthaina's poems.

He was able to employ this formal means after he had found that it was the most appropriate method to convey his feelings and emotions towards his friend Buthaina, whom he loved and wrote poetry full of sincere feelings.

That's why, the researcher found himself in a dire need to stand on these important locations in some models of his poems to shed light on some of the aspects of his emotional life reflected clearly in his poetry.

In the second section, we dealt with the semiotic dialogue in reference to a poetic trait that was frequently repeated by the poet Omar Ibn Abi Rabia for his employing of semiotic and non-semiotic functions, some of which occurred at the beginnings and endings of his poems until they became a phenomenon that can be addressed and studied, and can be a subject of analytical study under the name of semiotic dialogue
