Abstract EN

The research includes the study of the scientific and cultural life in Mosul in the first Abbasid era, and the manifestation of the civilized aspect of Mosul during that time, where many scholars, jurists, modernists, historians, writers, poets, including many Mosulian women and the flourishing of scientific life in Mosques, schools, the science institutions and the emergence of writers, and the flourishing of religious and other sciences in it compared to previous periods, where al-Qasim Jaafar Bin Mohammed al-Faqih Al-Shafi'i (303 A.H/935 A.D) founded a house for science in it.
