Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the predictability power for personality traits and forms of communication in family adjustment among spouses.

The sample of the study consisted of (320) husbands and wives.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used personality traits scale, forms communication scale, the family adjustment scale.

The results showed there was statistically difference in the coefficients correlation between communication forms and its domains (verbal and non-verbal), and adjustment (husband / wife), in favor of the males.

The results showed the variables study (verbal communication, personality trait "judgment/ perception", personality trait "extraversion/introversion", and the non- verbal) have the predictability power in family adjustment among spouses (males and females).
