Kurdistan region government has contracted with foreign oil companies to invest the oil wealth in the region .

All these contract are in contractual form called production participation, that is not the style followed by oil producing companies because of the disadvantages and lack of relevance to the circumstances surrounding the oil fields in the region .

The conditions that have been signed result in loss of resources for the benefit of the companies and give the companies the chance to control all branches of the oil industry in the region .

All pros and cons of the contracts could be identified over the last period in Iraq and Kurdistan region through the economic assessment of these contract in a short and concentrated method .
