Abstract EN

The oil crisis had a negative impact on the Algerian economy, transferring balances from surplus to deficit, and all the indicators of growth to contraction.

However, there is another challenge that is the development of alternative energy sources, taking in to account that represents the reality of the world of the growing demand for energy economy.

This study aims to reveal the possibilities of Algeria from alternative energy sources, renewable ones in particular.

To develop these sources by providing the overall frame work of the national program for renewable energy prospects for 2030.

Then, give the most important requirements that must beprovided for the success of the development strategy and keep Algeria a major player in the global energy market, even in the absence of economic or physical oil.
