Abstract EN

İn general, the Ottoman woman had no significant role to be mentioned in public life and her limits were only within the home.

This affected greatly her role in public life as it became very limited.

It didn’t remain the same because of what the Ottoman Empire had passed through historial changes, influences and developments, which allowed woman to claim her public and private rights such as learning, social freedom, freedom of speech and even politics.

Her efforts had continued untill she gained these rights alsa played a role till she was able to gain her rights.

1839 was the date of the declaration of the organaizations in the Ottoman Empire under the reign of Sultan Abdul Majeed as the Ottoman Empire had affected by the updating and changes that took place in the European countries and reflected on the Ottoman Empire including the social life.

Since the woman was a part of the society,she had to be influenced by this period.

This was considered the basis for the change that the women experienced in the future.

Aftar the declara tion of the organization, the re were significant historical stations in the Ottoman Empire, including the declaration of the First Condition 1876 in the time of Sultan Abdul Hameed II and the secend 1908, on which the study stepped.
