Abstract EN

Childhood is one of the most important stages of human development.

At this stage most of the character traits which characterize man later begin and have been childhood and are still fertile ground for several researches shared by different sciences such as psychology، education، sociology and psychiatry to learn about the foundations of these Stage and on the fundamental pillars upon which adulthood and rationality are based.

This study is descriptive and theoretical study of the reality of psychological services provided to people with special needs in the city of Baghdad.

As the problem of research lies in the need to address the needs of people with special needs، especially after the numbers have become high in Iraq and the conditions that the country is going through difficult economic and social conditions، which requires the importance required to know about care.

The objectives of the research were to identify the most important needs of people with special needs and methods of dealing with the injured in order to develop treatment plans.

The terms of research and presentation of literature have been defined in the relevant theoretical aspect، as well as in a series of previous local، Arab and foreign studies.

The research came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
