Abstract EN

The current paper aims to identify Vocational Satisfaction for primary school teachers in both public and private school in Baghdad, the Second Al-Karkh Directorate and according to the variables of years of experience and monthly salary.

The paper adopted Al-Shuhri Scale for vocational satisfaction (2002) and the study covered (138) teachers in primary schools both private and public.

The results have shown that teachers have statisfactin about their jobs,but there is a difference between the teachers in public schools and those in privte schools in favor of the latter group.

As far as monthy salary and years of experience, there was significant differences.
