Abstract EN

The industrial establishments in Algeria realized the importance of adopting the concept of quality in all the work carried out by these enterprises, from the identification of production inputs to final products.

The aim of this study is to demonstrate the importance of adopting ISO 9001standards in developmg the competitiveness of Algerian economic enterprises.

Therefore, the problem of the study- was raised as to the extent to which the adoption of the concept of ISO 9001 certification in the development of competitiveness of industrial enterprises in Algeria?Based on the above, we conducted an analyti cal field study for a group of industrial enterprises by providmg questionnaire and analysis and presentmg its results through the package of statistical programs for social sciences (spss).

The study found that the companies studied despite the ISO 9001 certificate, but their performance has not improved continuously according to the sample evaluation.
