Abstract EN

The study aimed at finding out the reality of the use of computers by principals and principals of middle schools in performing their duties and developing administrative work.

The sample of the study consisted of (75) managers and managers, within the Directorate of Education of Anbar province.

To implement the study, the researcher prepared the study tool in a questionnaire divided into four fields.

The results showed that the mathematical averages of the responses of the study sample members in the fields of the study tool (1.17-2.21) (2.21).

The second category was the use of e-mail with an average of (1.79).

The field of computer applications ranked third with an average of (1.51) and fourth and last rank Ga (1.17).

The mean average of the tool as a whole (1.71) was low.

This indicates that the reality of the use of computers by principals and principals of middle schools in performing their tasks and developing administrative work was low, Differences in the actual use of computers according to gender, scientific qualification and management experience.

In the light of the results, the study came out with several recommendations and proposals .
