Abstract EN

The higher research is specialized in studying the cognitive biases and especially about: a- Exaggeration for males in estimating females' behavior.

b- Doubt for females in males' intentions towards them.

The current study aimed at: 1- Constructing a measure of exaggeration for males.

2- Constructing a measure of doubt for females.

3- Measuring exaggeration for males.

4- Measuring doubt for females.

5-Differences in the amount of exaggeration for males according to the variable of stage (first- fourth).

6-Differences in the amount of doubt for females according to the variable of stage (first- fourth).

A measure of exaggeration was constructed consisting of (12) items as well as a measure of doubt for females consisting of (14) items based on error administration theory of David Bass and Marty Silton.

When applying the measure of exaggeration to a sample of (76) academic students, it was shown that the sample had exaggeration and in estimating the females' behavior, there was no statistical significant difference among the male students of the first and fourth stages.

When applying the measure of doubt for females to a sample of (76) female academic students, it was shown that the sample had doubt in the males' intentions towards them and there was a statistical significant difference among the female students of first and fourth stages.
