Abstract EN

The main objective of the study was to study the subject of university governance, by addressing its main concepts, principles and characteristics, and its importance in improving the performance of university institutions, in a way that allows the development of the higher education sector in general, and the scientific research sector in particular, and we reached a recommendations that allow for compliance with the rules and principles of university governance, in accordance with leading global experiences in this field, in which higher education plays a key role in improving the economic and social performance of nations.
