Arabic Abstract
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات طلبة الجامعات في محافظات غزة نحو أخبار الجريمة في المواقع الإخبارية الفلسطينية و علاقتها بخصائصهم الاجتماعية، و تحديد المواقع الإخبارية التي يتابعونها للتعرف على أخبار الجريمة، و أنماط الموضوعات و الجرائم التي يفضلون متابعتها في المواقع الإخبارية الفلسطينية، و دوافعهم من متابعة تلك الأخبار وعلاقتها بخصائصهم الاجتماعية.
و تنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى البحوث الوصفية التي استخدمت المنهج المسحي وفي إطاره أسلوب : مسح جمهور وسائل الإعلام، و تم جمع بيانات الدراسة عن طرق صحيفة الاستقصاء المقننة التي وزعت على 400 مبحوث من طلبة جامعات غزة الرئيسة الثلاث : الجامعة الإسلامية، و جامعة الأزهر، و جامعة الأقصى".
و توصلت الدراسة لعدة نتائج أبرزها متابعة 53.6% من المبحوثين أخبار الجريمة عبر المواقع الإخبارية بدرجة متوسطة، و 22.7% منهم يتابعونها بدرجة عالية، بينما 17.9% يتابعونها بدرجة منخفضة، و أما الذين لا يتابعون أخبار الجريمة فإن نسبة 69.6% منهم يعزون ذلك لعدم كفاءة المواقع الإخبارية في نقل أخبار الجريمة، بينما 56.5% منهم يرون أن أخبار الجريمة لا تثير اهتمامهم، و 47.8% يرون نشر أخبار الجريمة يثير الفتنة في المجتمع.
و أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متابعة طلبة الجامعات في محافظات غزة لأخبار الجريمة في المواقع الإخبارية الفلسطينية وفقا للحالة المزاجية لهم عند المتابعة.
و وضعت الدراسة عدة توصيات منها : زيادة اهتمام المواقع الإخبارية الفلسطينية بمعايير صحة و صدق المعلومات المقدمة للجمهور، و التحلي بالدقة و الموضوعية عند تناول قضايا الجريمة، و منح الحرية الكاملة لجميع الآراء و الأفكار التي من شأنها التطوير و التحسين، و تركيز المواقع الإخبارية الفلسطينية على بث القيم الايجابية التي من شأنها ربط الشباب الفلسطيني بواقعهم الاجتماعي و السياسي، و نبذ القيم السلبية التي من شأنها تنغير هؤلاء الشباب من معايشتهم لهذا الواقع، و التعمق في نشر أخبار الجريمة و وضع حلولا لها، و تفسير و تحليل هذه الجرائم من الناحية الشرعية و القانونية و النفسية و الاجتماعية.
English Abstract
This study aims at identifying attitudes of university students in Gaza governorates towards crime news in the Palestinian news websites and their relation with students’ social characteristics.
It also aims at spotting news websites they surf to pursue crime news.
In this regard, the study attempts to identify patterns of topics students prefer to keep track with in the Palestinian news websites, their motives to do such, and their social characteristics related to this type of news.
This study belongs to descriptive researches.
In this regard, the survey methodology was used and mass media survey method was applied.
Data was collected using a well-designed questionnaire distributed to (400) respondents representing students from the main three universities in Gaza; (The Islamic University, Al-Azhar University, Al-Aqsa University).
The study concluded with several results, the most important of which were : A percentage of (53.6%) of the investigated respondents pursue crime news via news websites with a medium degree, (22.7%) with a high degree, and (17.9%) with a low degree.
For those who do not pursue crime news, a percentage of (69.6%) attributed their attitudes to the incompetency of news websites in delivering crime news, while (56.5%) attributed that to their disinterest in crime news, and (47.8%) of them attributed their attitudes to the fact that crime news awaken turmoil among society members.
The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in pursuing crime news in the Palestinian news websites by the Palestinian university youth attributed to their mood during surfing such websites.
The study reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are : Palestinian news websites should consider validity and creditability standards of information presented to the public.
Crime news presentation should maintain accuracy, and full freedom should be provided to all opinions and ideas aiming at developing and improving the content.
Palestinian news websites should focus on circulating positive values that link the Palestinian youth with their social and political reality as well as dropping negative values that disincline them of living in such reality.
Crime news should be tackled down thoroughly with proposed solutions.
Crimes should be also analyzed legally, lawfully, physiologically, and socially.
