The purpose of this article is not to take stock of the importance of violence in Arab schools, nor of the evolution of this phenomenon over time or its distribution in the social and geographical space.

Such an approach, the scientific legitimacy of which we do not question, remains to be undertaken and we will be able to rely on an important body of research.

n particular, it shows that violence is not a recent phenomenon but has gained new notoriety in recent years for reasons related to the digital revolution and the lack of social policies.
