This study tried to identify the impact of Web applications (2.0) in the development of criticism and artistic taste skills among intermediate school students in AL – Baha Region.

The study has focused on answering the questions of the study which include: What are the skills necessary for the development of criticism and artistic taste among intermediate school students, as well as recognition the form of interactive environment for Web applications (2.0) to develop these skills The researcher has used the descriptive and experimental methods to achieve objectives of the study, where he used the descriptive method in building the questionnaire of criticism & artistic taste skills, and the questionnaire of interactive environment building of web applications (2.0), then the experimental method to measure the impact of Web (2.0) in the development of criticism and artistic taste skills.

The study population in the current study was composed of 40 students from the intermediate school students in the AL – Baha Region of Saudi Arabia, who were divided into two groups, one of them was an experimental group of 20 students, and the other was a control group of 20 students.

The experimental group underwent Web(2.0) applications, while the control group did not receive any application on the Web (2.0).

Through data reached by the researcher, the researcher processed the data using T-test to measure the significance differences between the two groups, and then followed by the use of effect size equation to identify the significant size that have emerged from the application whether those significances were big, medium or small.

Depending on the application, the researcher reached the following findings: There is statistically significant difference at the 0.

05 level between the average grades of members of the experimental group and the control group grades in post- application of the achievement test for analysis and art criticism for the experimental group.
