Abstract EN

This study was conducted in the poultry farm which belong to the animal production techniques – technical college AL-Mussayab during the period 1/11/2016 until 5/12/2016 aiming to investigate the effect of using a premix locally prepared instead of imported premixes on productive performance of broilers.

A total number of 540 one-day old broiler chicks (Ross 308) where used in the experiment, those chicks were distributed randomly on 9 equal treatments, each treatment included 2 equal replicates.

Chicks fed on the experimental diets so that T1: control (contained a local premix), meanwhile T2, T3 and T4 were contained Wafi, Provimi and Max Care premixes, T5, T6 and T7 were contained a local premix with Wafi or Provimi or Max Care at rate 50: 50 respectively, T8 contained imported premixes (Wafi, Provimi and Max Care at a rate ½ for each one), T9 contained all studied premixes , local and imported at rate ¼ for each one so that each premix must be mixed with the experimental diet at rate 2.5% to cover the requirements of birds according to age period by a sufficient electric program ( Best Mix ) to conduct that calculations.

The results of the search for the superiority of treatment T1 added to the premix locally mixing on the treatment T2 added to Premix importer of the wafi sign in most of the characteristics of study and the mixing of multi premixes gives better results than using them individually.
