Abstract EN

Drug crimes are a source of ongoing threat and concern due to their multiple effects on individuals and society.

Because of the companionship of these crimes with societies throughout the different ages and the resulting loss of lives and many other damage, we were motivated to study this concept, its spatial and temporal distributions.

This study has shown the nature of those who commit such crimes as well as the reasons behind doing so and the method of obtaining those narcotic drugs.

The total number of crimes reached 2405 during the period 2005-2015) the highest of which was in 2015 with (302) crimes.

The majority of the committed crimes were in Samawah
