Abstract EN

Public spending are considered as one of the most important tools of financial policy that affect the economic activity , so the interest in public spending and foreseeing its prospects is m fact the door to economic growth, a lot of economists have tried to analyze the relationship between public spendmg and economic growth,some of them found it positive,especially in the developed countries , others found it negative while others found that there is no relationship between them.

And we will seek in this paper to find the type of this long-term relationship between public spending and economic growth using algerian joint simultaneous integration method for the period (1970-2012).

This study shows that there is really a relationship in the long -term integration between public expenditure and economic growth through the use of granger test.
