Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the perceived social support level and its relationship with the moral intelligence among tenth grade students in governmental schools of the Directorate of Northeast Badia, Jordan.

The sample of the study consists of (500) students and were where chosen by using the cluster random sample technique.

'Moral Intelligence Scale' developed by Abu Awad (2011) and the 'Perceived Social Support Scale' developed by Abu Ghazal (2009) were used in this study.

The study results showed that the level of moral intelligence and the level of perceived social support among the students were at intermediate levels.

Also, the study results indicated that there is no statistically significant correlation between the total degree of moral intelligence and the total degree of Perceived social support.

The results revealed a significant positive relationship between assimilation and support from teachers and positive relationships between conscience and selfcontrol from one side and support from both parents and colleagues from other side.

Similarly, there was a positive relationship between justice and support from colleagues while the tolerance was positively associated with support from both teachers and colleagues
