Abstract EN

This study explains the concept of Shari’a Intents, their importance and their impact on jurisprudential adaptation of modern developments.

It also clarifies the means established by Sharia to preserve the offspring, with a special reference to medical updates.

The study adopts a descriptive and analytic methodology and covers different aspects such as the meaning and significance of Shari’a intents as well as the jurisprudential adaptation of medical developments related to the protection of the offspring, such as birth control and artificial insemination.

The study concludes that it is permissible to regulate and manage the birth of children with the intention of keeping intervals between pregnancy periods or preventing it for a specified period of time.

As for internal artificial insemination, it is permissible under certain conditions.
