Abstract EN

This research aimed to find out about Shari’a ruling regarding the phases that the endowment of ‘hotline followers’ (announced through Sharjah Radio and Television in Sharjah) has gone through, including the phases of: formation or sponsoring, administration, establishment, investment, through an intermediary, and payment of endowment revenue for the beneficiary bank owners.

Using a descriptive, analytical, comparative and deductive method, the study found out that all phases are legitimate and are compliant with the required endowment requisites.

It also made the inference that this kind of endowment is legitimate in terms of formation, administration, establishment, investment method, and legitimacy in relation to the beneficiary bank owners.

The study aimed to shed light on a modern way of investing in contemporary endowment and the important role the beholder plays in inventing modern ways to preserve the endowed objects.
