Throughout its long history, society and religion persist.

This indicates a fundamental fact, which is religion is a determined requirement for the society.

While the tradition of difference has been the distinctive character of all religious societies, this did not preempt conflict.

Yet, humanity is moving toward acknowledging the wisdom of peace and dialogue, and to strive for civilized.

This paper will highlight the work of an Islamic thinker AbdolKarim Soroush on religious pluralism.
