Abstract EN

This research revolves around the issues of prophetic hadiths on transactions that seem to be contradictory in Sahih al-Bukhaari, precisely in the book of Al-Buyou’, Al-Shof’a, Al-Ijasa, Al-Muzara’a and Al-Hiba.

The researcher traced these hadiths, collected them and studied them to point out the apparent contradiction between them as well as the paths followed by scholars of Islam to invalidate the claims about their ‘contradictions’.

The researcher focused on the paths followed by Imam al-Bukhari, the four imams, and Al-Dhahiriya – by mentioning the supporting evidence of each argument and weighting between them.

The importance of this research lies in defending Sahih al-Bukhari, which is the most reliable book after the book of Allah the Almighty, highlighting the practical aspect of the paths mentioned by scholars in invalidating the claims of discrepancy between the texts, particularly in the sections that deal with transactions and that have caused many undesirable debates, then interpreting contemporary misreadings in relation to this subject.

This research also showed the scholars’ concern about the Prophet’s Hadiths and the harmony, rather than, the contradiction between them.

It also demonstrates that Sharia is based on facilitation, by bringing interests and increasing them, permitting all that benefits people and nations, preventing and reducing evil, as well as prohibiting transactions that lead to enmity and hatred
