Abstract EN

This research aims to introduce the Prophet’s general standards and principles in managing public money.

It discusses the foundations of financial planning and ways to provide all kinds of public financial resources, including: permanent, temporary, and emergent resources.

The study will also illustrate the known ways of organizing current expenditures, capital expenditures, control spending, and social justice in its distribution.

It will clarify the methods used in organizing administrative and financial structure, the distribution of tasks, the approaches used in dealing with budget deficit, together with management of administrative and financial slack; all through the prophetic tradition.

Further, it will explain the impact of proper management of public money on social security and stability.

Findings revealed that almost all political and financial crisis facing most Islamic countries were due to lack of religiosity and abandoning prophetic standards in managing public money.

The study proposes that the only way to overcome such crisis is by adopting Allah’s sacred guidelines and embracing prophetic traditions, especially those related to the expenditure of public money by showing honesty and justice in distributing the government’s earnings and incomes.
