Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the solid foundations of educational curriculum, and the strategy of building a matrix of Islamic Aqidah (faith) lessons in the fifth Grade textbook in light of Surat Al-Mulk.

The results of this study, which used the inductive method, have thrown into relief the most important foundations of the educational curriculum for building Islamic Aqidah, which are the instinctive, emotional, and intellectual aspects.

Other educational methods featuring in Surat Al-Mulk to build Islamic Aqidah include: binary opposites, probing questions, giving proverbs and observations, and reminding the learner of the graces and blessings of Allah.

Surat Al-Mulk also involves audio-visual aids such as: vision, hearing, reason, and imagination.

The matrix of Islamic Aqidah lessons in light of Surat Al-Mulk is specified as follows: introduction, content presentation, evaluation, conclusion, and learning outcomes.
