Abstract EN

This study has shown that the basis of the methodology of Qur’an purposes is to understand the words of the Holy Quran and to clarify their meanings and purposes properly.

It has also sought to explain the deemed condition among the scholars of interpretation and inference, bearing in mind that this can only be achieved through close examination of their books.

The disciplined explanation of Qur’an purposes is especially important for responding to deviant interpreters who use purposes as a pretext for their own understanding the Holy Qur’an.

The expansion of Ijtihad that is based on purposes without methodological guidelines and commitment to Shari’a principles can constitute a dangerous deviation that may end in the evasion of the provisions of Shari’a or their abeyance in the name of interests, and may consequently lead to a forced interpretation of texts.

This study has shown the importance of implementing these rules, employing them to control the dialogue with others and placing them on the right track, so as to prevent a possible routing of dialogue into undesirable results.
