Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the vocational difficulties among teachers of students with autistic disorder in both Amman and Riyadh, and the effect of the following variables: the country, sex, experience, education level, age, and income on these difficulties.

The study sample consisted of (176) teachers, (83) from Riyadh and (93) from Amman.

The researcher developed a questionnaire for this purpose which included (44) vocational difficulties spread over nine dimensions.

It used comparative survey method.

Results showed that difficulties related to: income, characteristics of students with autism, issues related to families and parents of the students, and the difficulties related to the teachers, are the most prevalent among teachers.

There is a statistically significant difference in the difficulties related to working conditions in favor of Jordan teachers.

and in the difficulties related to management in favor of females.

and in the difficulties related to curriculum, teaching aids, and difficulties related to stress in favor of males.

There are no significant differences between the averages of the study sample responses on the nine dimensions of the vocational difficulties depending on age, educational level variables.

There is a statistically significant difference between the averages of the study sample responses on the nine dimensions of the vocational difficulties depending on the experience, and level of income in the difficulties related to management
