Abstract EN

This study aimed to detect the students of special education department at KAU concerns before the practical education course from their point of view and its relation to some variables.

the study sample consisted of (64) student, have been selected by using purposive sample .

a list of students of special education department at KAU concerns has been building through a survey the views of the special education students in the sixth and seventh educational level, and thus reached the final form of the list which consisting of (31) items, be answered by yes or no.

the results indicate that the most common concerns among special education students before the practical education course, which ranged between (89% - 73%) had been: concern from the existence of educational courses by (89%),which was the most common concerns, followed by existence of bad school administration by (87.5%), and the existence of wrong diagnosis for the disabled students and the school which be far away from the student home were equal in the proportion of common where the percentage of each (86%).

as for the other concerns the common have ranged between (69% - 16%) .

the results also indicate that there was no statistically significance differences (0.05) in the students of special education department at KAU concerns before the practical education course from their point of view attributable to the variable of specialty, but the results indicate that there was statistically significance differences (0.05) in the special education students concerns attributable to the variable of cumulative average, which was on the items (12, 20,28)for the cumulative average groups (2.99 and under).
