The research aims at finding out the effect of the fishbone strategy in the achievement of the intermediate second grade students of the Arab Islamic history and the development of their reasoning.

In order to achieve the objective of the research and hypotheses, the researchers adopted the design of the two sets of partial control of the type of tribal and remote testing.

The sample consisted of (72) students of the first grade intermediate who study the history of Islamic Arab in the general directorates of Baghdad Al Rusafa three, In the city of Sadr City, the simple random way was chosen two divisions of the first row average, divided into two groups, experimental study on the strategy of the fish bone, and the officer taught in accordance with the usual method, after the researchers conducted parallels in the educational achievement of the M previous, IQ scores, temporal age, and tribal reasoning test.

In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researchers prepared an achievement test consisting of (40) substantive paragraph after verifying its validity by presenting it to the experts and arbitrators, as well as extracting its stability by way of re-application.

To measure the reasoning thinking, The thinking prepared by the researcher (Hadeel Mahdi Rikabi, 2014), being a recent tests, which was characterized by honesty, consistency and objectivity, as well as the possibility of answering the sample search for the paragraphs of the test .After correcting the answers and processing the data statistically, the results showed that the students of the experimental group studied according to the fishbone strategy on the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method in the post-achievement test and explanatory thinking, as well as the difference in the level of reasoning in the tribal application And the second-grade students are average.

In light of the results of the research, the researchers reached a number of recommendations and suggestions.
