السياسات الزراعية في الجزائر و ما مدى فعاليتها في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي

Abstract EN

Agriculture is considered in Algeria as the main sector regarding its economic and social importance.

The Algerian State was bound to foster and to encourage supporting politics to this sector in order to raise the rate of the production and the productivity in order to meet the increasing demand of agricultural products and fishponds.

The Algerian authorities faced this problem and adopted different agricultural policies in order to reach a national sufficiency and food secu- rity.

Early in the independence, the self-management sector was dominat- ing, followed by the agrarian revolution in the time of the socialist Algeria but after reforms were carried out by authorities, a considerable im- portance is dedicated to the sector.

In spite of measures related to agricultural policies, indicators on the food security show us that the Algerian state is unable to reach the objective which leads to a constant and lasting self insufficiency.
