Life skills are an absolute necessity for all individuals in any society.

It is one of the basic requirements that an individual needs in order to be compatible with himself and with the society in which he lives and coexists with him, enabling him to deal intelligently with society and help him to cope with everyday problems and to interact with life situations.

Life skills help the individual to manage his life and adapt to himself, and to cope with the changes that occur with the requirements of life, and make him able to solve problems and assume social responsibility and to address and solve the problems imposed by the modern era, life skills are the ability to perform qualitative behavior and consensus and positive behavior To deal with changing environmental conditions.

research goals : Main research objective: This research aims at revealing the impact of life skills in the light of midlife crisis and marital adjustment.

Sub-research objectives: 1.

Determine the most life skills of couples and wives of the research sample.

2 - To identify the most life skills and their impact in the light of the crisis of middle age and marital adjustment of spouses and wives of the research sample.

3 - Find differences between spouses in the use of life skills in the light of the midlife crisis and the variables of research.

4- To find the differences between the marital adjustment and the research variables.

5 - To establish the relationship between the life skills of the couple in the light of the midlife crisis on marital adjustment.

The research reached: 1 - There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample in life skills according to the variables of the study.

2 - There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample in the marital adjustment according to the variables of the study.

There is a correlation between the life skills questionnaire and the marital adjustment questionnaire.

There is a correlation between the life skills survey axes and the themes of the marital adjustment questionnaire and the study variables.

5- The percentage of participation of the factors influencing the life skills.

I recommend searching for: 1 - Provide training courses from relevant parties in this regard, in terms of marital adjustment and skills and preparations for those who are coming to marriage.

2 - guide the couple to adopt the ideas of others and accept the other party and build respect between them and work to develop the economic situation for them.

3 - to conduct further research in this regard because of the positive effects at the level of the Arab world in general and Saudi Arabia in particular.
