The current research aims to know the effect of (Tragest) on the indicative thinking among the secondary-stage students / literary branch, in the subject of History.

In order to fulfill the goal, the researcher has placed Zero hypothesis: there is not statistically difference at the level (0.05) between the experimental group grades average who study history of Europe and America by using (Tragest) example and control group grades average studying the same subject according to the traditional method in the post-test of indicative thinking.

The researcher has depended on experimental design, of partial control with two equivalent groups ( experimental and control).

The research society composes of Baghdad education- al-karkh the second-related secondary schools/ morning study, governmental one for girls for the academic year (2016-2017) with random method.

It has been chosen sample of study consisting of (64) stusents in the fight- secondary stage, with (32) students in the experimental group and (32) students in the control group.

The researcher has a equivalence between these two groups in a number of variables (clever test decrees, marks of History for the former years (2015-2016), education of the parents, and age.

The researcher has specified the scientific subject that includes three chapters of Europe and America Book (modern and contemporary) for the fifith - secondary stage and that being specified for the academic year (2016-2017).

In the light of the research's contents, the researcher has derived 14 goals that being distributed on six levels for Bloom classification (cognition, understand, application, analysis, composition and evaluation).

The researcher has prepared study plans with 36 daily for every group of the research's two groups.

The researcger has prepared pre-test of indicative thinking, consisting of 30 test items of multi-test of three alternative.

It has been verified reliability and consistence, distinction force, and difficult coefficient.

The researcher has used (t-test) for the research results analysis and post-test has been applied on the indicative thinking items on Monday 9/1/2017.
