Abstract EN

The current study entitled Amman’s Cultural and Spatial Changes during the Forties for the author Abdurrahman Munif surveys the most important cultural, social and spatial changes of Amman city in Jordan with the shift of its traditions and customs in a certain period of time from the previous decade.

This work is a biographical in nature but from the author’s perspective and memory.

He tries to figure out the most influential conversions in social, political and economic domains and how it become a big city in limited time duration after being a small village for a long time.

This work is a trail to bring back memories, events, characters and places and the changes that had happened to that city.
