Arts, especially visual fine arts, try to educate and develop the aesthetic taste of all individuals and especially high school students.

This is reflected in the importance of art in general and plastic arts in particular in the development of aesthetic education for the individual, which is the same for the society and students because the study of art elevates the artistic taste to the required level and raise the level of aesthetic education among students and that is the problem addressed by the researcher in his current research.

The objective of the research is as follows: 1- Knowledge of plastic arts and its relationship in the development of aesthetic education among students in the preparatory stage.

The research was conducted in the General Directorate of the Education of Babylon in 2016 - 2017 and dealt with the plastic arts, including drawing.

The researcher reached the following results: 1- It was found that the value of (t) calculated (6.10) is greater than the tabular value of (2.03) at the level of significance (0.05), indicating a significant difference between students in the fourth, fifth and sixth stages.

2- In the field of sex variable, the following showed: (For males, it was found that the value of (t) calculated (5.28) is greater than the tabular value of (2.08) at the level of significance (0.05).

3- For females, it was found that the value of (t) calculated (4.11) is greater than the tabular value of (2.08) at the level of significance (0.05), indicating a significant difference between the male students in the fourth stage and the female students in the fifth and sixth stages in art education.
