Abstract EN

The current research aimed to measure the social acceptance of the kindergarten child, measure the emotional regulation of the kindergarten child, and reveal the strength and direction of the relationship between the social acceptance and emotional regulation of the kindergarten child.

The research was applied to the children of Riyadh pre-school age (5-6 years) And females for the academic year (2017/2018) in the governmental kindergartens affiliated to the Directorate of Education Rusafa I and II, and the sample of the study (240) children and girl, and the research tools consisted of the measure of social acceptance of the child of the kindergarten where the researcher built, 30) color film, was extracted The second instrument is the measure of emotional regulation prepared by Zeman & Garber (1996) and modified and adapted to the eastern environment (India) through Ravell et al.

(2007), The scale consists of two dimensions: 1.

Knowledge dimension: represented by tasks to determine the type of emotion and emotional incidents.

2.

Social dimension: represented by the tasks of control decisions - Express emotion and the reasons and methods of control and emotional expression.

The scale was used by the researcher (Ismail, 2009) and the researcher (Dahabi, 2017).

The validity of the scale was verified in three ways In order to analyze the results, the T-test was used for one sample, the t-test for two independent samples, the Spearman Brown equation, and the Pearson correlation coefficient.

The research reached the following results: 1-Kindergarten children enjoy a good level of social acceptance.

2-Kindergarten children enjoy a good level of emotional regulation.

3-There is a positive correlation between social acceptance and emotional regulation, that is, the greater the proportion of social acceptance in the child the greater the ability to regulate emotional
