The current research aims at identifying the difficulties of teaching media translation in the private colleges from the point of view of the students.

To achieve the goal of the research, the two researchers relied on the descriptive approach and a number of procedures that included defining the research community, which was limited to the students of the fourth stage who study the media translation in the translation department at Al-Mamoun University for the academic year 2016-2017, (34) students, with a percentage of (46.58%) and (39) students with a percentage of (53.42%).

(68.49%) of the total student population.

The two researchers used a questionnaire to collect their research data from the exploratory study, previous studies and literature related to the research topic.

The two researchers presented a number of lists prepared by the specialists in the field of difficulties and after verifying their validity by presenting them to the experts.

The final consists of (40) divided into (six) main areas: (scientific material, teaching methods, methods of teaching, teaching aids, activities and accompanying events, calendar and tests), each paragraph represents the difficulty of teaching material translation in the Faculties of Ahlia from the point of view of scholars .The researchers used a number of appropriate statistical methods (eg, square to test the validity of the paragraphs in the responses of the arbitrators, and Pearson correlation coefficient to extract the stability of the tool.

The study revealed the difficulties facing the teaching of media translation in private colleges from the point of view of the students.I n the light of the results, the researchers concluded the following: 1- The intensity of the scientific material and presentation of subjects in an interesting manner that lead to a sense of students difficult.

2- The lack of the presence of teachers specialized in the translation of information in civil colleges.

3- He lack of knowledge of the teaching of the article on modern methods, which leads to the use of the method of preventive, which prompts students to save deaf.
