Abstract EN

This research aims to shed light on the scientific outlook on Iran's strategic thinking in the period 1973-1975.

In presenting this research, the researcher reviewed the basis of the American historical presence in the Gulf region and the development of US-Iranian relations.

There are three strategic stations focused on this research in order to understand the American thinking towards Iran.

The importance of the strategic location of Iran as this site made him a friend and ally of the United States of America and the strength of stability and moderation in the region after the British withdrawal, and the fact that this forms the first motive in the selection of research.

While Shah Mohammad Reza Shah took advantage of Iran's strategic position as a pressure and bargaining chip in its dealings with the big powers, especially the United States, and exploited it to extract further concessions, gains and influence, thus investing Iranian geography in support of Iranian politics.

The United States has sought to benefit from this vast area of Iran by supporting Iran's strategic power and the consumption of advanced American products.

Therefore, the Iranian market has been a major attraction for the United States a growing market for US goods and a convenient location for investments.

This motivation is the third choice in research.
