Abstract EN

This study provides an overview of smoking, its consequences and its related ruling in Islamic jurisprudence.

It is based on an objective scientific method.

I have been encouraged to explain this issue because Islamic Sharia illustrates that it is a harmful habit as well as there are mental evidences and medical studies prove that.

It entitled (Smoking, its history, its damage and its rule in Islamic jurisprudence).

The research consists from an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion.

The first chapter speaks about the emergence of smoking, its materials, its reasons and its remedies.

The second chapter demonstrates the rule of smoking in Islamic jurisprudence.

At the end, the researcher shows most important results and recommendation.
