Abstract EN

The research aimed to indicate the levels of life satisfaction and attitudes toward immigration among Kurdistan region youth, finding the significant difference for both variables according to gender, specialization and universities, besides the relation between a life satisfaction and the attitudes toward immigration, the researchers prepare the scales for this reason.

After confirming the standards of validity and reliability for both variables, a sample of (620) students were randomly selected according to the number of students in the three university's (Salahaddin, Duhok and Sulaimani) for study year (2017-2018).

The statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) was used in processing the data; the results showed that the sample members had a level of life satisfaction however the attitude toward immigration showed negative attitudes toward immigration among the universities youth of Kurdistan region.

The results also showed that there was no significant difference in life satisfaction according to gender, specialization and universities although the results showed a none significant difference in attitude toward immigration according to gender and university but there were a significant difference according to specialization between humanitarian and scientific specialist for Scientifics.

The research discerns also a negative significant relation between life satisfaction and attitudes toward immigration.
